The Wet Spots Live at the Sydney Opera House - 2008
On our first date, my partner John Woods and I wrote a little ditty called Threeway Rendezvous. Then we had a big giggle about becoming a lounge act called The Wet Spots where we would play music and tell stories and be totally oblivious to social taboos. Then that act took us around the world, performing at the Sydney Opera House and in London's West End, winning "Best Cabaret" at the Adelaide Fringe, opening for queer comedy legend Margaret Cho at the Vancouver International Comedy Festival, and performing alongside such legends as Leo Sayer and Chita Rivera at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Not bad for a first date.
